While reading The Proof is in the Pudding by Clay Boura, I noticed how clever the concept of the text is. The entire purpose of this book is to teach the true meaning of a single idiom and it achieves this goal in the simplistic approach which is both enjoyable and refreshing. It's fun and silly storytelling works wonders in bringing Beamer's imagination to life. There are times where this book can seem a bit repetitive with its word choice but, in general, The Proof is in the Pudding by Clay Boura conveys its message and is sure to delight any child in need of a bit of light reading or a bite of sweet dessert.

GREAT BOOK SERIES! I love the "Leave It To Beamer" series. I have read them to several elementary classes and the students love them as well. Once you buy one you will want to buy them all.
GREAT CHILDREN'S BOOK! This is a great book dealing with an idiom, listed in the title. Each of the author's books addresses a different idiom. Great for children who have difficulty with pragmatic language, or just a silly interpretation, with fun illustrations. I highly recommend :)
